Here you will find a variety of Bibles and other reference works which can be accessed while online. Although the majority of links are specific to translations, PLEASE don't miss the study value available on these pages of the backgrounds on the translations, and helps to getting the most out of a given interpretation.

The Unbound Bible This is The Unbound Bible, made available by Biola University. It's unique in that it allows for non-English searches (Hebrew, Greek, Russian). Available in 10 English versions including the NASB, Greek and Hebrew Versions (the original Bible languages), 4 ancient versions and more. Also available are study tools such as Naves Topical Bible, Easton's Dictionary and Torrey's Textbook.

The New Living Translation The searchable, New Living Translation. Many people REALLY love this fresh, but accurate, translation. NOT a paraphrase, like the Living Bible of the 70's.

The Audio Bible This is the original reading of the KJV by Alexander Scourby, originally recorded in the 1940s as The Talking Bible for the vision-impaired. It has become a perennial favorite, and is available for online, Real Audio streaming, and also for sale through this site in the form of a Windows audio/data CD-ROM.

AudioTreasure (mp3 downloadable audio Bible) David Williams wasn't able to locate a downloadable version of the Bible in audio format on the Internet, so he decided to create one himself. This link takes you to his page, where you can either download low-fidelity versions of the recordings, or order the CD to get the readings in full fidelity. David reads from the World English Bible, a translation he was free to use, as it was not bound by copyright restrictions.

Mr. Williams reading is clear, even and not over-the-top with emotion. A slight Virginia accent (not at all distracting) adds a charm to the reading. He's no Alexander Scourby, nor does he attempt to be. This would be a great listen for the vision-impaired, a long trip, or a day at the beach.
